About

J. Equity. Research is the pen name of the single independent analyst who writes every article on Global Stock Brief. The site has no sponsors and takes no payment from the companies it covers. Its only revenue is display advertising.

How the analyses are built

• Each company analysis rebuilds the numbers from primary documents: 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings, XBRL data, earnings releases, investor presentations and call transcripts. Foreign issuers are covered from their 20-F, 6-K and local disclosures.
• About five years of financials are reconstructed, then set against what management claimed in the latest deck and what it guided for.
• Valuation is shown as ranges against the company's own history and peers. There are no price targets and no buy, hold or sell ratings.
• The daily Sector RS brief ranks 129 US-listed sector and theme ETFs by one-month relative strength after each US close. The rules are on the Methodology page.

Data sources and labels

• Company disclosure: figures taken directly from a filing or IR document, linked in the text.
• Own calculation: figures derived from disclosed numbers, with the method stated.
• Aggregator check and aggregated sell-side research: third-party data used only as a cross-check, never as the primary source.
• Prices come from daily closing data. Macro series come from FRED and official releases.

Dates and corrections

Every article shows its publication date, and figures are as of the dates stated in the text. When a mistake is found, the article is corrected and a dated note says what changed. Nothing on this site is investment advice. See the Disclaimer.
